The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver avoids the head kick by Assassin.
Silent Assassin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assassin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silver circles away.
Assassin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Silver tries to stand but Assassin is controlling from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Assassin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Silver counters with a shoot takedown. Assassin fights it but they end up in guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Assassin is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Assassin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Assassin gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Silver has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Assassin uses from the top position.
Silver lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Assassin!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Assassin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Silver landing strikes from the mount and Assassin is in trouble!
Assassin holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Silver tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Silver is working for a submission of some sort.
And that's the end of the fight!
Jon Silver showed his dominance in that final round.
