Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Lassiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Lassiter!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lassiter as he avoids it easily.

Fisher tries to keep at a distance but Lassiter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lassiter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fisher avoids it.

Fisher has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lassiter clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Lassiter trying to control the hands but Fisher won't let him.

Despite being in a bad position, Lassiter is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.
Fisher tries to get the hooks in deep but Lassiter pushed the leg off.

Fisher is hanging on to Lassiter's back as he tries to escape.
Fisher is throwing strikes by Lassiter counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Lassiter regains half guard.
Fisher not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fisher definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lassiter wants to control but Fisher is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Fisher stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lassiter to get to his feet.

Lassiter forces Fisher back against the cage and clinches.
Fisher is trying to break the clinch but Lassiter has him pressed against the cage.

Lassiter lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Lassiter obliges.
Lassiter lands a good knee to the midsection. Fisher won't want to take too many of those.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fisher shoots for a takedown but Lassiter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tom Fisher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lassiter tries to close the distance and clinch but Fisher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lassiter cracks Fisher with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fisher looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lassiter finish him?


Fisher is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lassiter darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Fisher's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lassiter before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gerald Lassiter!
