Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wilbert Chambers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abel Pride!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Pride. Beautiful body shot.
Chambers dives in and grabs Pride's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pride pushes down on Chambers's head and hops out.
Chambers takes one on the button.
Pride gets caught flat footed, as Chambers shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pride has his hands on Chambers's head, controlling the position.
Chambers throwing strikes but missing.
Pride is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Chambers won't allow Pride to get back to his feet.

Pride is controlling Chambers's posture.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pride fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pride dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Abel Pride seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pride lands an overhand right.
Chambers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pride tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chambers is in Pride's guard.
Chambers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pride has a closed guard, preventing Chambers from standing up.
Pride really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chambers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chambers controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Chambers stands and throws Pride's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pride tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chambers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pride is trying to get back to his feet.
Chambers in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Pride is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
