Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reid Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reid Madden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Kent! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent throws a head kick but Madden moves out of range.
Kent throws out a powerful jab. Kent clinches. Stalling in the clinch from Madden.
Kent manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Madden throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Madden slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Madden looking to pass the guard. Madden slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kent controls Madden momentarily but Madden frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madden won't allow Kent to sweep him here.
We're going to have a standup here because Reid Madden wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Madden gets caught napping as Kent dives in and scores a takedown. Madden manages to retain guard. Kent must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Madden being controlled here, momentarily. Madden looking for a sweep. Not yet Madden, not yet. Madden is pulling down on Kent's head to control his posture. Kent engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bruce Kent. Kent stuns Madden with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Madden gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kent managing to block the knees to the body from Madden.
Madden drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kent gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Madden turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Madden manages to end up in side control. Madden could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Madden has knee on belly and moves into mount. Madden controlling from mount. Madden putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kent wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Madden controlling from the full mount. Kent can't escape the position.
Madden controlling his opponent. Madden pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Madden with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Madden looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kent tries to hold on but Madden postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Madden controlling his opponent. Kent wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reid Madden dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Madden feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kent looking for a sweep. Not yet Kent, not yet. Madden stays in close to Kent's body and controls the position. Madden sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kent's guard. Madden takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Madden seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kent for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Reid Madden wasn't doing enough on the ground. Kent stuffs the takedown attempt from Madden. Madden gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madden shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kent wants to sweep but Madden has passed to side control! Kent is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Madden asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kent wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Madden seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Kent is tapping! Wow, great finish!
