Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Parkway Drive - Sleepwalker. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Winston McCall was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

26 - 18 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mac Hansen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Winston McCall! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen misses with a wild combination.
McCall leaves Hansen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A big right from McCall misses. Hansen throws a series of punches but McCall avoids them all with ease. McCall throws a front kick aimed at Hansen's knee but Hansen avoids it well. McCall attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. No joy there for Hansen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hansen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. McCall controlling Hansen's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansen trying to control but McCall is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCall is controlling Hansen's posture. Hansen is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Disciples Top Team that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Hansen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We're going to have a standup here because Mac Hansen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. McCall misses with a lunging right hand
and Hansen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hansen throws a combination that misses and McCall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McCall. McCall trying to control but Hansen is working from the bottom. McCall passes Hansen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hansen's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McCall wants to control but Hansen is keeping him busy. Hansen is looking to improve his position.
Hansen is working hard here to advance position. Hansen keeps control of the position for the meantime. Hansen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mac Hansen wasn't doing enough on the ground. Hansen misses with a wild body shot. A nice inside leg kick there by Hansen. That's going to slow McCall down. Hansen walks forward, straight into a front kick from McCall. A decent looking body kick lands there for McCall. Hansen moves out of range of the leg kick from McCall. McCall tries to score with a low kick but Hansen moves his leg out of the way. Hansen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McCall, as that shot connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen pushes McCall away with a front kick. Mac Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hansen scoring well with a low kick there.
Hansen misses with a series of wild punches.
Hansen throws a combination that misses and McCall counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCall motions for Hansen to come forward. McCall throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. McCall misses with a low kick as Hansen jumps back. McCall stuffs the takedown attempt from Hansen. Hansen gets slowly back to his feet. McCall scores with a body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McCall lands with an uppercut that bounces Hansen off the cage and back into range. Hansen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Hansen. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCall looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Winston McCall dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hansen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McCall tries to land a front kick but Hansen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. McCall attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. McCall pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hansen with a poor takedown and McCall makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hansen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McCall - the referee stops the clock and Hansen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McCall. Hansen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. McCall looks to score with a jab to the body but Hansen is just out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Hansen. McCall tries a low kick but Hansen avoids it. Hansen dives in and grabs McCall's left leg, looking for a takedown. McCall pushes down on Hansen's head and hops out. An inside leg kick lands from McCall. Hansen shoots in looking for a takedown. McCall tries to sprawl out of it but Hansen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Hansen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McCall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen swinging wildly here.
McCall takes a body punch but keeps moving. McCall throws a body kick that misses. McCall stuns Hansen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hansen goes for a double leg but McCall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McCall continues to drive forward. McCall stops a takedown attempt from Hansen.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. McCall misses with a body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hansen tries to score a body lock takedown but McCall shows good agility there to stay on his feet. McCall has Hansen pushed against the cage. Hansen blocks an uppercut.
McCall is defending well against a takedown attempt. McCall will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hansen up against the cage. McCall misses with a body punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCall just leaning against Hansen, taking a breather. McCall struggles to land a body shot inside as Hansen controls his hands.

McCall tries to stall but Hansen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Winston McCall. McCall throws a hook but Hansen avoids it easily. McCall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCall defends it nicely. McCall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hansen is able to avoid easily. Hansen fails to land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - McCall throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McCall throws a front kick aimed at Hansen's knee but Hansen avoids it well. A nice inside leg kick there by McCall. That's going to slow Hansen down. McCall tries to score with a low kick but Hansen moves his leg out of the way. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hansen fails to land with a series of punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from McCall. Hansen does a little dance to reset his feet. Winston McCall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hansen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Winston McCall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McCall ducks right into an uppercut from Hansen. McCall shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Hansen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McCall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hansen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McCall lands with a good body shot. Hansen checks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCall looks to score with a jab to the body but Hansen is just out of range. Mac Hansen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McCall bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hansen takes a swing at McCall's ribcage but misses. Hansen ducks under a wild hook from McCall. McCall throws a sloppy head kick and Hansen moves out of range easily. Some wild striking there from Hansen.
Hansen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. McCall walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hansen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hansen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McCall's hands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCall lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hansen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McCall to score an easy takedown into full guard. McCall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McCall trying to control the position from guard on top but Hansen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCall scoring with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hansen has McCall pulled in close to control his posture. McCall throws a strike but Hansen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. McCall looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hansen has picked McCall up and slammed him! McCall can't keep hold of the triangle and Hansen manages to pass to side control! This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hansen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Hansen swings around for an armbar but McCall sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hansen's guard. McCall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close third round but Winston McCall just about did enough to take it. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

McCall connects with a solid leg kick. Hansen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCall manages to avoid it. McCall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hansen sees it coming and avoids it easily. McCall fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hansen is out of range. McCall looks to score with a jab to the body but Hansen is just out of range. An inside leg kick lands from McCall. Hansen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McCall eats them both and turns towards Hansen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Hansen connects with a body shot that sends McCall's belly button to the back. Hansen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A slow jab from Hansen misses its intended target.

McCall throws a series of punches but Hansen moves out of range. McCall pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hansen fails with a takedown attempt. Hansen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCall circles away quickly and effectively. Hansen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. McCall throws a jab when Hansen was well out of range.

McCall swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hansen. Hansen jabs at McCall's body. Hansen misses with a combination
and McCall counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hansen's knee momentarily. McCall throws a nice outside leg kick. McCall lands a nice hook to Hansen's body. Hansen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. McCall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hansen fails to land with a series of punches.

and McCall finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Hansen is looking to wear down McCall with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

McCall stuns Hansen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. McCall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hansen moves away. McCall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hansen was well out of range. Poor timing from McCall. McCall looks to land a body kick but Hansen moved away. That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hansen lands in his opponent's guard. McCall striking off his back, scoring a few points. Hansen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hansen got a little sloppy there for a moment and McCall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hansen has managed to get both his arms back between McCall's legs - danger averted. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hansen! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hansen blocking the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Winston McCall dominated that fourth round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
McCall throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hansen swings for the body but McCall moves out of range.
A low kick from McCall misses and Hansen counters with a single leg into guard. McCall didn't expect that. Hansen throws an elbow that misses. McCall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hansen's guard. Nice move by McCall! McCall postures up in Hansen's guard and throws a big left but Hansen blocks it. Hansen keeping moving, preventing McCall from controlling successfully. Hansen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCall's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hansen is one step ahead there. McCall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. McCall pulls Hansen in close to his closed guard and prevents Hansen from doing any damage or advancing position. Hansen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing McCall to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hansen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - McCall pulls down on the head and he's put Hansen to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 5, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Winston McCall! Winston McCall is the new lightweight champion! Winston McCall decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
