Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lance Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Al Bartlett! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bartlett was well out of range. Poor timing from Stevens. Stevens moves forwards but Bartlett connects with a nice, crisp jab. Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.
Stevens tries to bum rush Bartlett with a series of wild strikes but Bartlett uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bartlett tries for a takedown but Stevens sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stevens moves into range and connects with a jab. Stevens looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stevens lands a slapping body shot.
Bartlett takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lance Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stevens looks to land a combination but Bartlett avoids it well. Bartlett is looking to clinch. Nice body punch from Stevens. Stevens connects with a body shot. Stevens works Bartlett's body with a nice hook. Lance Stevens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Bartlett counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stevens lands an overhand right. A telegraphed right hand from Stevens misses the target. Stevens throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stevens takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A lazy left from Stevens finds it's target. Stevens punishes Bartlett's body with a nice straight punch. Stevens lands a jab. Stevens scores with a hook to the body. Bartlett takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Stevens with a jab. Stevens misses with the combination.

and Bartlett decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stevens's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stevens has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bartlett advances to half guard. Stevens keeps control of the position for the meantime. Bartlett lands with a punch from half guard. Bartlett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Stevens is staying active underneath Bartlett, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stevens tries to get to full guard but Bartlett has control of the leg. Stevens wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bartlett is trying to control the action in half guard but Stevens is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bartlett is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stevens is just riding it out for now. Bartlett eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stevens is staying active underneath Bartlett, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stevens keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Stevens keeping control of the position. Bartlett is trying to work for a kimura but Stevens is defending well.

Stevens has his feet on Bartlett's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Bartlett has a takedown stuffed. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stevens changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Stevens dominated that round. That's time! Stevens's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Stevens throws a combination that misses and Bartlett counters with a stiff right hand. We've been informed that Bartlett has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Stevens just misses with a punch to the body.
Bartlett gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Stevens dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A punch lands to the side of Bartlett 's head but he takes it in his stride. Stevens fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stevens connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bartlett takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stevens uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bartlett has time to react.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens's corner calls for a 1-2. Stevens obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Bartlett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stevens moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stevens cracks Bartlett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stevens slips under a jab from Bartlett. Nice uppercut lands for Stevens. That snapped Bartlett's head back.

and Bartlett cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stevens scores with a shot to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Bartlett 's head but he takes it in his stride. Stevens scores with a nice right hand.

Stevens stuns Bartlett with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stevens lands a jab. Bartlett takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Bartlett avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stevens stalks Bartlett and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bartlett's face. Bartlett staggers backwards, shaken. Stevens throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bartlett on the side of the head.
Bartlett is rocked! Stevens lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bartlett falls backwards - clearly groggy! Stevens dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Stevens! In his post fight interview, Lance Stevens started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
