Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Myers Hockles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver has chosen Enter Sandman-Metallica as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Myers Hockles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Oliver! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliver misses with a takedown attempt and Hockles counters with a nice leg kick. Oliver shoots in for a double leg but Hockles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Oliver with a poor takedown and Hockles counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Myers Hockles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Oliver. Hockles clinches up against the cage. Hockles tries to land knees in the clinch but Oliver avoids the damage to the body. Hockles is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Hockles breaks the clinch.
Hockles clinches up against the cage. Hockles stalls. Oliver successfully pulls guard.
Oliver wants to sweep here but Hockles controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hockles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oliver is proving hard to escape from. Hockles has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hockles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Oliver works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hockles sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hockles wants to stand but Oliver is controlling his posture from full guard. Hockles won't allow Oliver to sweep him here. Oliver has a closed guard, preventing Hockles from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oliver is trying to keep Hockles in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Oliver tries to close the distance and clinch but Hockles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Oliver fails with the takedown. Oliver shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hockles counters with a big head kick but Oliver shrugs it off. Oliver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hockles as he avoids it easily. Oliver fails to land the takedown. Oliver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hockles. Hockles circles away from the clinch attempt and Hockles counters with a solid body kick. Oliver looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hockles looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oliver fails with the takedown and Hockles counters by clinching up. Hockles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oliver shoots in and bounces Hockles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hockles lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Oliver! Hockles prevents Oliver from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hockles lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hockles wants to control the pace but Oliver is squirming around nicely. Oliver is in a horrible position here. Hockles smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hockles cracks Oliver with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hockles content just to control the position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hockles tries to control but Oliver wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Myers Hockles dominated that round. That's time! Hockles's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A head kick by Oliver misses and Hockles counters with a nice uppercut. Oliver is looking to clinch. Oliver avoids the head kick by Hockles.
Oliver shoots in and drives through. Hockles sprawls well. Hockles feints and then cracks Oliver's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Oliver down. Oliver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Oliver shoots in and drives through. Hockles sprawls well. Oliver is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hockles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Myers Hockles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Oliver. Hockles throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Whack! Hockles lands a heavy head kick that drops Oliver. The ref tackles Hockles to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Oliver was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Myers Hockles! After winning the bout, Myers Hockles thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
