The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Elliott enables Aye to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Elliott manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Aye postures up and lands a big shot to Elliott's brow.
Elliott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Elliott is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aye is controlling him.

Aye is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Elliott is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Elliott flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Aye anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Elliott and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Aye slips an arm under Elliott chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Aye has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Aye is squeezing on Elliott like an anaconda would it's prey. Elliott fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
