Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Holloza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie Holloza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Balboa! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa throws a leg kick but Holloza checks it. Holloza has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Balboa. Balboa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Balboa throws a leg kick that is checked and Holloza counters with a low kick, right behind Balboa 's knee. Holloza has Balboa up against the cage in a clinch.

It looks like Conan Balboa has been cut. Balboa is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Balboa is trying to break the clinch but Holloza has him pressed against the cage. Holloza avoids a wild elbow strike from Balboa. Holloza stalling the fight.
Nice body punch from Holloza. Holloza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Holloza manages to break the clinch.

Balboa dives in and grabs Holloza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holloza pushes down on Balboa's head and hops out. Balboa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa throws a leg kick but Holloza moved away. Holloza checks a low kick from Balboa. Holloza throws a sloppy head kick and Balboa moves out of range easily. Holloza has managed to clinch.

Balboa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Balboa tries to break the clinch but Holloza is controlling the position. Holloza's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Holloza blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Holloza is pushing Balboa up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Balboa creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Balboa missing with knees to the body.
Holloza lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Balboa backwards. Holloza utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Nice body punch from Holloza.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Holloza lands an elbow just above Balboa 's eye. Balboa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Holloza crunches a lovely knee into Balboa's ribcage. Balboa looks winded! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Holloza creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Holloza using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Balboa is rocked! Holloza creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Balboa's defenses. Balboa is still on wobbly legs! Can Holloza finish him? Holloza lands a damaging elbow.
That has opened up Conan Balboa's cut even more. Holloza comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Holloza's Muay Thai looks sharper than normal. He has obviously been working on it in the gym.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Balboa is trying to force a seperation but Holloza has the dominant position. Holloza prevents Balboa from breaking the clinch. Holloza using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
