Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer's entrance music is Ride Of The Valkyries - Richard Wagner. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Banks's choice of entrance music: All I do Is win. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
29 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Will Banks!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Banks on the side of the head.
Spencer throws a low kick, looking for Banks's leg but Banks calmly moves out of range.
Spencer shoots in for a takedown but Banks shows good takedown defense.
Spencer takes one to the chin there.
Banks shoots in and drives through. Spencer sprawls well.
Banks slips under a jab from Spencer.
Banks throws a jab but it's blocked by Spencer.
Banks loads up on a big right hand but Spencer slips the punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Spencer misses the target.
Spencer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Banks controlling the position.
Spencer trying to control but Banks is working from the bottom.
Banks pulls Spencer in close to prevent any damage.
Spencer trying to control the position from guard on top but Banks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Spencer is looking to advance position but Banks has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Banks lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Banks scoring with strikes but Spencer is staying in there.
Banks punishing his opponent with strikes.
Spencer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Spencer sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Spencer is in trouble now - Banks has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spencer doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?
Spencer wants to hold on but Banks pushes him away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banks can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Spencer is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Spencer is looking to improve his position but Banks isn't that keen on the idea.
Spencer sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Spencer actively working from the bottom here.
Banks slips a nice elbow through Spencer's hands, connecting with Spencer's forehead.
Banks passes the guard and advances to mount!

Banks lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spencer is squirming around, avoiding Banks's attempts to control the action.
Spencer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Banks with a couple of short strikes.
Spencer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Spencer is rocked!
Banks lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Oh Spencer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spencer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Banks postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Spencer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Spencer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Banks!
