Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena shoots for a takedown but Down saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Down misses with a two punch combination.
Oooooh!!! Down has knocked Pena down with a huge combo! Down steps away and waves a wobbly Pena back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Eldon Pena has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Down decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pena keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Down thows a huge punch but Pena dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Down winds up and cracks Pena with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Down is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Down throws a strike but Pena avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Pena might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Down looking to sit in guard and control but Pena gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Down wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Pena is stalling here. Down is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pena seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Down has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Pena dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Down. That did some damage!

Down bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pena is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Down's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Down sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pena's guard.

Pena avoids a punch combination nicely.
Down fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Down lands a high kick!
Some wild striking there from Down.
Down does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Down shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pena as he jumps to the side.
Pena clinches.
Down jumps guard but Pena stands there with Down around his waist. Down gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pena gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Pena changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Down fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pena dives in for a single leg takedown but Down sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Pena throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pena tries to score a power double leg takedown but Down sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pena somewhat.
Down looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Down throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Down got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pena has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Down has managed to get both his arms back between Pena's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pena has his foot on Down's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Down works his way back into a safe position though.
Down must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Elias Down comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Down has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
