Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tigran Badoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Burke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tigran Badoyan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Burke! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burke ducks under a wild hook from Badoyan. Burke throws a nice outside leg kick. Badoyan scores with a nice right hand.
Badoyan misses with an attempted mid kick.
Badoyan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like James Burke has been cut. Badoyan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Burke. Burke chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Burke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Badoyan manages to avoid it. Badoyan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Badoyan misses with a kick to the body.

Badoyan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rollins Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight. Burke misses with a body shot.

Badoyan drives through with a takedown into Burke's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. That's one minute gone in the round. Burke looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Badoyan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Badoyan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burke keeps working. Burke moves into full guard.
Badoyan trying to control but Burke is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Badoyan controls the pace. Badoyan is working Burke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Burke is trying to control the position but Badoyan postures up. Badoyan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

You can't force these things though and Badoyan defends well. Burke looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Badoyan passes into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Burke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Badoyan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Badoyan staying calm. Burke tries to buck Badoyan off but Badoyan is having none of it. Burke has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Badoyan scoring with punches and elbows. Burke tries to get back to half guard but can't. Burke on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Badoyan trying to control but Burke postures up.

Tigran Badoyan dominated that round. The cut man is working on James Burke's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Badoyan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burke was well out of range. Poor timing from Badoyan. Burke misses with a wild body shot. Burke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Badoyan's head. Badoyan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Burke checks a leg kick. Burke throws a quick inside leg kick. Badoyan throws the left hand but Burke avoids the punch easily. A punch combination from Badoyan misses. Tigran Badoyan is winning the standup battle so far. A telegraphed right hand from Burke misses the target.

and Badoyan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Burke looks to land a right hand but Badoyan moved out of range. Burke walks forward, straight into a front kick from Badoyan. Badoyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Burke misses with a wild body shot. A nice leg kick lands there from Burke. Burke staying out of range there. Badoyan thuds his right hand into Burke's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Burke is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Badoyan throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Badoyan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Burke. Burke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Burke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Burke lands a jab to the nose. Badoyan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Decent striking displayed by Badoyan there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Badoyan lands with an overhand left. Badoyan is looking to land body kicks. Burke looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nice takedown defense from Badoyan. No joy for Burke on that attempt. A clash of legs there as Badoyan blocks the low kick. Badoyan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Badoyan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Burke finds it's way round the side to connect with Badoyan's head. Burke throws an overhand right that lands on Badoyan's shoulder, as Badoyan tries to avoid the shot. Burke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Burke wants it to stay on the feet. Badoyan thuds his shin into the meat of Burke's side. Badoyan scores with a hook to the body. Burke takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Burke swings for the body but Badoyan moves out of range.

Badoyan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Burke lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Badoyan throws a body kick that misses. Badoyan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Burke. Burke circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Badoyan connects with a looping right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Badoyan. Burke does a little dance to reset his feet. Badoyan slips under a jab from Burke. Badoyan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Badoyan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Burke blocks the body kick.
Badoyan is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A big left from Badoyan misses. Burke slips a jab from Badoyan. Badoyan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Badoyan misses with a looping right. Badoyan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tigran Badoyan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on James Burke's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Burke looks to land a right hand but Badoyan moved out of range. Badoyan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burke manages to avoid it. Burke misses with the combination.

Badoyan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Badoyan misses with a leg kick. Badoyan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burke. Badoyan works the jab nicely. Badoyan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Burke looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Badoyan wants to take a breather but Burke is having none of it. Badoyan is taking a breather. Burke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Badoyan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Burke is trying to control but can't.
Burke works his way to full guard. Good work. Burke keeping moving, preventing Badoyan from controlling successfully. Tigran Badoyan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Burke is pulling down on Badoyan's head. It's preventing any offense from Badoyan, at least for the moment. Burke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badoyan is looking for a sweep. Burke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Burke is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Badoyan tries to get to full guard but Burke has control of the leg. James Burke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Badoyan is working hard here to advance position. Badoyan trying to control from the bottom.
Burke is looking for a kimura but Badoyan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Burke to get the leverage. Badoyan is trying to get back to full guard. Burke is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Badoyan defends it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Badoyan moves into full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Tigran Badoyan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Badoyan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
