Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coryatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Katchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Coryatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Katchenko! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Katchenko looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Coryatt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Katchenko is out of range and Coryatt settles back down. A low kick from Katchenko is predictable there and Coryatt counters by clinching up. Katchenko scores a nice knee to the body.
Coryatt tries a body shot but Katchenko blocks it.
Coryatt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Katchenko's efforts to push away. Katchenko lands with a left to the head.
It looks like Chris Coryatt has been cut. Katchenko lands a shoulder strike. Coryatt throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Coryatt has Katchenko pressed against the cage, preventing Katchenko from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Coryatt tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Katchenko avoids it. Katchenko breaks from the clinch.

and Katchenko counters with a thumping low kick. Katchenko lands with a shot to the body. Coryatt throws a leg kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Katchenko moves into range and connects with a jab. Coryatt throws a low kick but Katchenko moves out of range easily. Coryatt throws a head kick that misses. Katchenko thuds his shin into the meat of Coryatt's side. Katchenko connects with a right hand. Coryatt shakes it off. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Katchenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Katchenko checks a leg kick. Katchenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coryatt manages to avoid it. Coryatt listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Andrei Katchenko has been cut. Katchenko throws a sloppy head kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Coryatt scores with a hook to the body. Katchenko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coryatt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Coryatt misses with a low kick. Coryatt throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Coryatt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Katchenko is out of range and Coryatt settles back down. Coryatt has closed the distance and engaged Katchenko in a clinch.

Coryatt throws a leg kick which misses Katchenko's front leg but catches the back leg as Katchenko tries to avoid it. Katchenko misses with a low kick as Coryatt jumps back. Chris Coryatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Katchenko takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Katchenko throws a push kick but Coryatt slaps the foot to one side. Coryatt thows a left - swing and a miss! Katchenko lands a nice looking kick to the body. Coryatt takes a step back to recover. Katchenko scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A head kick by Coryatt misses and Katchenko counters with a nice uppercut. Katchenko scores with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coryatt looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Coryatt lands a jab to the nose. Katchenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Katchenko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Coryatt takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Coryatt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Katchenko can pounce on him.
Coryatt tests Katchenko's chin there with a solid looking shot. Coryatt throws a leg kick that is checked and Coryatt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chris Coryatt's cut is getting worse. A low kick from Coryatt misses and Katchenko counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Coryatt throws the kick towards the body but Katchenko avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Katchenko keeps Coryatt at a distance using the push kick. Coryatt is breathing heavily. Coryatt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Katchenko is out of range and Coryatt settles back down. Katchenko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A left lands for Katchenko. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrei Katchenko dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Katchenko moves out of range of the body kick. Coryatt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coryatt cracks the inside of Katchenko's front leg. Coryatt misses with a leg kick and Katchenko counters with a head kick. That will keep Coryatt thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Katchenko checks a leg kick. Andrei Katchenko seems to be getting the better of the standup. Coryatt throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Coryatt throws a leg kick that is checked and Katchenko counters with a straight right hand. Coryatt tries a head kick but it misses.
Coryatt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Katchenko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Coryatt's knee momentarily. Coryatt is looking to chop away at Katchenko's legs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coryatt gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Coryatt tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Katchenko is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Coryatt buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Coryatt!! Coryatt is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Katchenko throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrei Katchenko! Andrei Katchenko decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
