Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robledo Puch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Mulroney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robledo Puch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brian Mulroney! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mulroney has managed to clinch.
Mulroney lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Mulroney pushes Puch back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Puch is trying to pull guard but Mulroney turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Mulroney manages to break the clinch.
Mulroney lands a nice shot that snaps Puch's head back.
Puch looks for a takedown but Mulroney sprawls well. Mulroney leaves Puch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robledo Puch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Puch doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mulroney counters with a flying knee. Nice. Puch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mulroney counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Puch is lucky that one didn't land flush. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Puch fails with the takedown and Mulroney counters with a nice uppercut. Puch misses with a takedown and Mulroney counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puch takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Puch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mulroney manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Puch working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Puch being controlled here momentarily. Mulroney keeping moving, preventing Puch from controlling successfully. Puch lands a couple of elbows. Mulroney wants to sweep here but Puch controlling him for the moment. Mulroney controls Puch momentarily but Puch frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mulroney is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Puch distracts Mulroney with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Puch lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Puch stopping the sweep attempt from Mulroney. Puch wants to control from the top but Mulroney keeps moving. Puch postures up in Mulroney's guard and throws a big left but Mulroney blocks it. That's three minutes gone in the round. Puch is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mulroney is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Robledo Puch has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Puch fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mulroney misses with a hook. Puch ducked under it nicely. Puch doesn't succeed with the takedown so Mulroney counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Puch can't keep his opponent in guard - Mulroney advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mulroney is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Puch has managed to free his arm - good work. Puch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Well, if Mulroney is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Puch wants to control but Mulroney is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Mulroney dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Puch gets a double leg takedown into Mulroney's guard. Puch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mulroney is keeping the position for now. Puch throws a strike but Mulroney rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Puch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mulroney is aware though and is defending well. Puch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mulroney is keen to just control but Puch is a slippery customer. Puch gets full guard. Puch throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mulroney uses it to pass to side control.
Mulroney tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mulroney has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Puch tries to buck Mulroney off but Mulroney is having none of it. Puch wants to control but Mulroney postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puch is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Puch struggling a bit here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Puch manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Puch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mulroney is not content to let Puch control the position. Mulroney has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Puch is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mulroney tries to get to full guard but Puch has control of the leg. Puch wants to take a breather but Mulroney is having none of it. Puch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Mulroney regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Puch. Puch not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Puch throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Puch landing with the ground and pound. Mulroney keeping full guard, as Puch tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mulroney is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Puch slips nicely into half guard. Puch prevents Mulroney from improving his position. Puch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mulroney is just riding it out for now. Puch eventually gives up the hold. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Puch is keen to just control but Mulroney is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Mulroney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Puch shoots and misses and Mulroney counters with a straight right hand. Mulroney shoots in looking for a takedown. Puch tries to sprawl out of it but Mulroney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Puch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Puch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Puch shoots for a takedown but Mulroney saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mulroney smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Puch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mulroney sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Puch somewhat.

Good shot there by Mulroney. Mulroney shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mulroney showed some decent athleticism there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Puch moves into full guard.
Mulroney won't allow Puch to sweep him here. Mulroney tries to free his leg and advance position but Puch is retaining full guard. Puch looking to control but Mulroney passes into half guard.
