The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford tries a head kick but it misses.
Ford ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Malone moves away.
Ford takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Malone throws a leg kick but Ford sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ford has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Malone.
Malone blocks a head kick by Ford.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ford.
Ford throws a hook to the side of Malone's head but Malone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ford ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Malone moves away.
Malone gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ford.
Malone lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ford at a distance.
Ford shoots in but no luck this time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Malone pushes Ford away with a front kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ford is defended easily by Malone.
Ford throws an off balance right hand
and Malone makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Malone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ford.

Malone closes the distance and pushes Ford back into the cage.
Malone lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ford backwards.
Malone makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Malone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Malone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ford.
A solid leg kick lands there for Malone.
A big right from Ford misses.
Malone scores with a jab to the jaw.

Ford misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Max Ford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malone drops Ford with a big left hand! Ford is injured, injured bad! Malone jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
