Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerrold Valencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gotham Reckoning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Reckoning's choice of entrance music: The Fire Rises. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gotham Reckoning was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerrold Valencia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gotham Reckoning! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reckoning tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Valencia counters with a series of strikes. Reckoning will be more careful next time no doubt. Reckoning tries to clinch but fails miserably and Valencia counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Reckoning prevents Valencia from breaking the clinch. Valencia is trying to break free. Valencia blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Reckoning is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Valencia is keeping busy. Reckoning fails to pull guard.
Valencia is defending well against a takedown attempt. Reckoning manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Reckoning as Valencia shoots in. Reckoning shoots for a double leg takedown but Valencia sprawls well. He's pushed Reckoning's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jerrold Valencia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gotham Reckoning. Reckoning fails to land with a series of punches.
Valencia drives through and clinches with Reckoning against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reckoning misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valencia tries to pull guard but Reckoning holds him up against the cage and eventually Valencia drops back down to his feet.
Valencia pulls Reckoning into guard.
Valencia has Reckoning pulled in close to control his posture. Valencia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reckoning trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Reckoning is looking to stand up but Valencia won't let him. Reckoning wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Valencia's closed guard. He's half up but Valencia has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Valencia pivots and extends the arm, Reckoning falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Valencia! Well done that man!
