Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manny Longoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Salas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2 PAC Picture Me Rollin . Marcelo Salas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salas blocks the body kick.
Longoria moves to clinch but Salas breaks away
and Salas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Longoria tries for a takedown but Salas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Salas.
Longoria tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Salas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Longoria shoots in looking for a takedown. Salas tries to sprawl out of it but Longoria keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Salas thumps Longoria with a low kick.
Longoria tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Salas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Longoria dives in and grabs Salas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salas pushes down on Longoria's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Longoria. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Salas. That's going to slow Longoria down.
Salas's coach down at Hand 2 Hand Combat $50 !!! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Salas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Longoria takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Manny Longoria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Longoria closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salas did well to prevent Longoria getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Longoria is trying for a kimura here. Salas looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Longoria wins by kimura!
