Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa comes to the cage accompanied by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR7dG_m3MsI. Adriano Barbosa looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adriano Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a hook
and Barbosa counters with a two punch combo.
Gracie tries a low kick but Barbosa avoids it.
Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Barbosa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gracie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barbosa on the side of the head.
Gracie misses with a double jab
and Barbosa counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Barbosa is trying to push Gracie away but Gracie has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Gracie tries to circle away but Barbosa has him pinned against the cage.
Gracie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Gracie.
It looks like Adriano Barbosa has been cut.
Gracie lands with a shot to the body.
Gracie throws a sloppy body shot
and Barbosa counters by moving into the clinch.
Gracie keeps control of Barbosa as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Barbosa tries to break the clinch but Gracie is controlling the position.
Barbosa gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Barbosa wants to get back to striking at distance but Gracie won't allow it.
Gracie gets through Barbosa's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Gracie stalling the fight.
Barbosa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gracie throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gracie throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Barbosa from controlling successfully.
Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Barbosa is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barbosa has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Roger Gracie!
After the fight, Roger Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Adriano Barbosa had this to say: 'foi culpa da bebida!'.
