Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mercito Gesta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Dapalong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gesta walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gesta closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dapalong circles away.
Gesta shoots in looking for a takedown. Dapalong tries to sprawl out of it but Gesta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dapalong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gesta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dapalong as he jumps to the side.

Dapalong's coach down at Build Up Crossfit was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dapalong's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Mercito Gesta will probably get the nod.
