Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rio Ler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brendan Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rio Ler! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell pushes Ler up against the cage in a clinch. Ler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bell just stands there and leans against the cage. Ler looking for a takedown. Bell manages to break the clinch.
Bell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ler has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Ler closes the distance and clinches up with Bell, looking for a takedown. Ler pushes Bell against the cage but Bell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brendan Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rio Ler. Bell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bell wants to stand but Ler has his arm trapped. Bell advances nicely into full mount. Ler keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ler gets back to half guard. Ler wants to get back to full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bell is trying to control. Ler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ler tries to roll over but Bell keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ler manages to get to full guard.
Ler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bell really is a fat lump. Bell trying to control the position from guard on top but Ler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Ler is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bell throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ler's body to avoid the submission. Ler has instead reached around Bell's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ler arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Rio Ler!
