Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Duplesris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravo comes to the cage accompanied by OVER ME by Tricky. Rickson Bravo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rickson Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Duplesris! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Duplesris throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A slow jab from Duplesris misses its intended target. Bravo throws a head kick but Duplesris moves out of range.
A jab from Duplesris misses. Bravo tries to land a leg kick but Duplesris saw it coming and moves away.
Duplesris works Bravo's body with a nice hook. Duplesris's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Duplesris duly obliges. Duplesris throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bravo on the side of the head. Bravo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duplesris takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duplesris tests Bravo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Duplesris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bravo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bravo throws the left hand but Duplesris avoids the punch easily. Duplesris throws a one two combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duplesris waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bravo. Seth Duplesris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A looping hook to the body misses from Bravo. Duplesris does a little dance to reset his feet. Duplesris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Duplesris throws a hook but Bravo avoids it easily. Duplesris misses with a double jab.

Bravo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Duplesris. Duplesris punishes Bravo's body with a nice straight punch. Duplesris jabs Bravo right on the nose. Bravo blinks but takes it well. Bravo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Duplesris's head backwards. Duplesris takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A big right from Bravo misses. Bravo looks to throw the jab but Duplesris is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duplesris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bravo circles away quickly and effectively. Duplesris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bravo ducks under a wild hook from Duplesris. Seth Duplesris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duplesris dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Duplesris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bravo moves away. Sloppy strikes from Duplesris. Those never looked like landing. Bravo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Duplesris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bravo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duplesris tries to avoid it but Bravo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duplesris to the ground. Duplesris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Duplesris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bravo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Some wild striking there from Duplesris.
Duplesris slaps away a takedown attempt from Bravo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duplesris misses with a double jab.
Duplesris thows a left - swing and a miss! Bravo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Duplesris tests Bravo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bravo dodges the punch combination from Duplesris.
Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bravo stopping the sweep attempt from Duplesris. Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Duplesris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo throwing strikes from guard but Duplesris blocks nicely. Bravo pushing down on Duplesris's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Duplesris trying to control but Bravo postures up.
Bravo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Duplesris has managed to free his arm - good work. Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duplesris is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bravo blocks the strikes from Duplesris.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seth Duplesris dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bravo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Bravo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Duplesris's head backwards. Bravo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duplesris moves away. A swing and a miss from Duplesris. Duplesris scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Duplesris misses with a wild combination.
Duplesris cracks Bravo with a good jab. Duplesris with a nice cross. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Duplesris. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Duplesris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duplesris wants it to stay on the feet. Bravo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice defenses there by Duplesris. Duplesris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo throws an off balance right hand
and Duplesris counters with a stiff right hand. Duplesris lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Duplesris lands with a straight right. Bravo didn't see that one coming. Bravo is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Duplesris moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seth Duplesris!
