Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rocky punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rocky punch told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
punch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Taylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but punch swivels and escapes.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Taylor closes the distance and clinches up with punch, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes punch against the cage but punch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - punch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and punch counters with a nice uppercut.

Taylor shoots in for a double leg but punch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around punch's waist but punch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Taylor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Taylor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed punch's guard.
Taylor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Taylor throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Taylor wants to take a breather but punch is having none of it.
Taylor is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! punch is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
