Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Croft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Menzies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Croft's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin Croft!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Menzies!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Croft scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Menzies lands with a kick to the ribs.
A low kick from Croft is predictable there

and Menzies counters with a head kick that drops Croft to the mat! Croft scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Menzies swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Menzies moves out of range of the strikes.
Menzies bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice body kick from Croft.
Menzies throws a quick inside leg kick.

Croft clinches with his opponent.
Croft has Menzies pressed against the cage, preventing Menzies from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Croft has a couple of punches blocked by Menzies.
Menzies is struggling to control the position.
Menzies is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Croft is keeping busy.

Menzies lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Croft backwards.

It looks like Steve Menzies has been cut.

Croft lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Menzies or not.
A nice left hand lands by Croft.
Menzies swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Croft misses with a hook from the clinch.
Croft lands a hook that snaps the head of Menzies backwards.
Croft misses with some punches.
Croft scores with a nice hook to the head.
Croft throws a head punch that misses.
Menzies lands a left hand.
Menzies struggles to land a body shot inside as Croft controls his hands.
Menzies just leaning against Croft, taking a breather.
Croft misses with a body punch.

Menzies can't find room to land a body shot as Croft controls the action.
Menzies stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Menzies is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Menzies is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
Menzies swings wildly with an uppercut but Croft uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Menzies dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Steve Menzies's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Croft scores with a nice right hand.
Croft looks to land a left hand but Menzies moved out of range nicely.
Croft buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Croft connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


That has opened up Steve Menzies's cut even more.
Croft throws a head kick but Menzies moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Croft as he connects with a hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Menzies throws a leg kick but Croft moved away.
Croft avoids the head kick by Menzies.
Croft dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Menzies. That did some damage!
Croft tries to score with a low kick but Menzies moves his leg out of the way.
Croft lands with a nice body punch.
Croft tries to clinch up but Menzies circles away and keeps his distance.
Menzies slips under a jab.

Menzies checks a leg kick.
Croft fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Menzies has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Croft.
Menzies takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice jab there from Croft.
Colin Croft is winning the standup battle so far.
A nice leg kick lands there from Croft.
Good leg kick by Menzies there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Croft counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Menzies thinking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick by Croft - that's a beauty! Menzies is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Croft can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Colin Croft!
During a confident post fight interview, Colin Croft thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
