Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Palikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen game of death theme as his entrance music. Max Lee has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kalle Palikka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Lee! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palikka gets tackled into the cage by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch. Lee slowing the pace effectively. Lee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Palikka backwards. Lee has clasped his hands together around Palikka's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Lee controlling the position. Lee creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Lee tries to advance to mount but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Palikka misses with a strike from the bottom. Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Palikka is defending well. This has been an exciting period of action! Palikka is looking to regain half guard here but Lee keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palikka throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Palikka stops Lee from passing to mount. Lee tries for a kimura but Palikka is defending well. Palikka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Palikka is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee decides to stand back up. Palikka tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch. Palikka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Palikka to the mat! Palikka manages to get full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Palikka is on top in guard.
Palikka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Palikka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Palikka drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Palikka seems to have locked his on tight now - Lee screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Palikka, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Kalle Palikka! In defeat, Max Lee stepped up to the mic, saying 'This is a learning process, next time it won't be that easy!!!'.
