Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Rostowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artair Dostan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rostowski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to VITER - Marichka. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrzej Rostowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Artair Dostan!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dostan throws a left and a right that both miss

and Rostowski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dostan won't be happy with that.

Rostowski is trying to get an arm triangle but Dostan is defending well.
Dostan is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rostowski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dostan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rostowski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rostowski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rostowski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dostan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rostowski goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dostan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rostowski but great work by Dostan.

Rostowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Artair Dostan wasn't active enough on the ground.

Rostowski misses with a takedown attempt - Dostan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rostowski is defended easily by Dostan.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dostan is on top in guard.

Rostowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dostan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dostan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Let's hope that Dostan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andrzej Rostowski will probably get the nod.
