The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anderson, pushing him back against the cage.
Silva manages to break the clinch.
Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shane Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Silva.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Anderson.
Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Chriss Anderson has been cut.
Silva crunches a lovely knee into Anderson's ribcage.
Anderson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Anderson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Anderson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Shane Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Silva is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.

Silva drives through and clinches with Anderson against the cage.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Anderson's defenses.
Anderson lands with a short shot to the head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Silva lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Anderson is trying to stall.
Silva scores with a nice hook to the head.
Silva lands an elbow inside.

Silva lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Silva tries to clinch up but Anderson circles away and keeps his distance.

Silva tries a head kick but it misses.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Silva.
Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Anderson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Anderson keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off.
Silva clinches up against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva pushes Anderson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Anderson takes an elbow to the temple.
Silva scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Anderson takes a knee to the side of the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Chriss Anderson's cut.
That's time! Anderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Anderson throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Anderson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Anderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anderson off to one side.
Silva is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Anderson tries to throw a body punch but Silva avoids it by throwing Anderson back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Silva.
Anderson is trying to stall.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silva is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Silva lands a good knee to the midsection. Anderson won't want to take too many of those.
Anderson takes an elbow to the forehead.
Anderson is rocked!
Chriss Anderson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Chriss Anderson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chriss Anderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Shane Silva!
A relieved looking Shane Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
