Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Joad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Andrew Havener has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andrew Havener seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Joad! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Havener tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Joad manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Joad has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Havener tries to throw a body punch but Joad avoids it by throwing Havener back against the cage. Havener tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Havener has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Havener looking to throw knees to the head but Joad is blocking nicely.

He can't get it on this occasion though. Havener pushes off an throws an elbow but Joad leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Havener lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Havener unloads a knee to the mid-section. Joad wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Havener tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Joad avoids it. Havener prevents Joad from breaking the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

It looks like Tom Joad has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Havener misses with a knee strike.

Andrew Havener has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Joad. Havener doesn't manage to clinch there - Joad circles away.
Havener lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Havener changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Joad is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! and Havener counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Joad! He's just covering up as Havener starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
