Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Figure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman Peltier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Figure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Peltier! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Figure tries to clinch but Peltier is having none of it. Figure changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peltier tries to avoid it but Figure manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peltier to the ground. Peltier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Peltier throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Figure tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Peltier is in Figure's guard. Peltier sitting in guard here, content to control. Figure could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Figure wants to control but Peltier passes easily into half guard.
Figure wants to get back to his feet.
Figure wants to improve his position but Peltier is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Peltier seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Figure is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Peltier jumps into side control! Peltier is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Figure's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Figure is looking to get back to his feet here but Peltier is keeping cool and he's managed to take Figure's back. You can see the frustration on Figure's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Peltier controlling the positon. Figure just trying to survive but Peltier is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figure can't escape the position.
Our spies down at at Soul Supremacy Fight Club - ELITE TRAINERS----$580 inform us that Peltier has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Figure wants to get back to his feet. Figure is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Figure just trying to survive but Peltier is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peltier slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
It looks like Peltier might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Peltier's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Peltier closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Peltier dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Peltier defending well as Figure loads up on a big left hand. Peltier fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Figure misses with a takedown attempt - Peltier sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Peltier will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Peltier closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Figure to the mat! Figure manages to get full guard. Peltier slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Figure wants to sweep here but Peltier controlling him for the moment. Figure is trying to hold Peltier in close to prevent damage but Peltier has managed to pass into half guard.

Peltier controlling the action here. Figure tries to roll over but Peltier keeps him under control. Figure trying to control but Peltier postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Figure is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Peltier is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Peltier passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Figure! Figure wants to control but Peltier is having none of it. Figure working to try and regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peltier tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Figure wants to hold on but Peltier pushes him away. Figure avoids a series of strikes thrown by Peltier.
Peltier controlling the pace for now. Figure wants to hold on but Peltier pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Figure is trying to escape the mount.
Figure is trying to stand. Peltier controlling from mount. You get the feeling that Figure really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Roman Peltier will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Peltier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Figure as he avoids it easily. Figure bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Peltier is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Peltier is trying to stand back up but Figure is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figure prevents Peltier from improving his position. Figure trying to control the action but Peltier is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peltier can do anything to dispel that myth. Peltier trying to control but Figure postures up.
Figure thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figure seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Figure is just content to waste time from the top position. Peltier takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Figure wants to control from the top but Peltier keeps moving. Figure prevents Peltier from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Figure throws an elbow that misses. Peltier uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Figure's guard. Nice move by Peltier! Peltier controlling from the top position. Peltier is standing up over Figure. Figure looks to escape but Peltier dives into side control.
Figure wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Figure is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peltier gets to mount! Figure was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Peltier controlling his opponent. Peltier prevents Figure from getting the reversal. Figure wants to control but Peltier is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Figure really wants to buck Peltier off and get back to his feet. Peltier tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Peltier working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peltier working away from the top, dropping strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Roman Peltier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Peltier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
