0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julio Jones! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones closes the distance and clinches. A head punch blocked on the inside by Jones. A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jones is trying to push Kraniotakes away but Kraniotakes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Jones is looking for a takedown. Kraniotakes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kraniotakes tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Kraniotakes. Jones misses with a takedown and Kraniotakes counters with a nice uppercut. Kraniotakes takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones has a takedown stuffed. Kraniotakes looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Kraniotakes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Kraniotakes has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. Jones slips nicely into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kraniotakes works his way to full guard. Good work. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Julio Jones. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
