The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Longbottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jigster is looking for a sweep.
Longbottom working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Longbottom tries for a kimura but Jigster is defending well.
Jigster wants to control but Longbottom postures up.
Longbottom lands a few punches from side control.
Longbottom is looking to take a break and control but Jigster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Longbottom lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Longbottom tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Longbottom scores with a couple of short elbows.
Jigster is trying to control Longbottom's posture but Longbottom avoids it.

Longbottom lands a big left to the face of Jigster, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Longbottom and another - Jigster is out! Longbottom stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

During a confident post fight interview, Jim Longbottom thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Minion Jigster stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will come back better I promise'.
