Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monroe Hutchens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Koroviev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe Hutchens could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Igor Koroviev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Monroe Hutchens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Koroviev! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koroviev tries to clinch there but Hutchens circles away.
Hutchens wants to clinch up but Koroviev keeps it at a distance. Hutchens will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hutchens rushes Koroviev and presses him up against the cage. Hutchens is trying to pull guard but Koroviev turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Koroviev tries to score a body lock takedown but Hutchens shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Koroviev is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hutchens gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Koroviev looking for a takedown. Monroe Hutchens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Koroviev. Koroviev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hutchens shoots in for a double leg but Koroviev sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Koroviev closes the distance and clinches up with Hutchens, looking for a takedown. Koroviev pushes Hutchens against the cage but Hutchens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hutchens wants to clinch. Hutchens definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Koroviev looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutchens tries to clinch up but Koroviev circles away and keeps his distance. Koroviev shoots for a double leg takedown but Hutchens sprawls well. He's pushed Koroviev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hutchens has a takedown stuffed. Hutchens is breathing heavily. Koroviev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Koroviev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hutchens defends well and Koroviev ends up having to push Hutchens into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Koroviev breaks the clinch.
Hutchens shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koroviev is trying to defend but Hutchens finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hutchens tries to pass to full mount but Koroviev defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hutchens moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Koroviev. Hutchens wants to lay and pray for a moment but Koroviev keeps working. Koroviev is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Koroviev is trying to control Hutchens's posture but Hutchens avoids it. Koroviev manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hutchens content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hutchens is looking to advance position but Koroviev won't allow it. Koroviev is looking to improve his position.
Koroviev actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koroviev has his hands clasped together around Hutchens's back. He's all about the action. Koroviev tries to kick Hutchens off but Hutchens keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koroviev makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Koroviev. Hutchens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Koroviev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Koroviev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hutchens controls the pace. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koroviev can't keep his opponent in guard - Hutchens advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Monroe Hutchens will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Koroviev shoots in for a double leg but Hutchens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Koroviev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hutchens napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hutchens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koroviev on the ground. Koroviev is working to tighten his grip on Hutchens's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hutchens has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Koroviev is really squeezing tight and eventually Hutchens passes out! Koroviev breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
