Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Toffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toffer comes to the cage accompanied by Pain and Pleasure by Bullet For My Valentine. Marco Rivera will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ryan Toffer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Rivera! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toffer wants to clinch. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Excellent takedown into side control there by Rivera. Rivera sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Toffer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Toffer is looking to regain half guard here but Rivera keeps moving and retains side control. Rivera wants to control but Toffer is keeping him busy. Toffer tries to buck Rivera off but Rivera is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rivera tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toffer can't do much from the bottom here. Toffer is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera decides to stand back up. Rivera steps back and let's Toffer get back to his feet. Toffer fails in his attempt to clinch. Rivera shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Toffer sprawls well. Toffer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rivera gets slowly back to his feet. Toffer gets a clinch. Toffer has Rivera pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rivera manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Rivera gets control of Toffer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rivera will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rivera is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toffer wants to control from the top but Rivera keeps moving. Toffer throws an elbow that misses. Rivera uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Toffer's guard. Nice move by Rivera! Toffer keeping moving, preventing Rivera from controlling successfully. Toffer uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rivera rushes Toffer and presses him up against the cage. Rivera has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Toffer after a bit of a struggle. Toffer can't get the takedown.
Rivera unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rivera tries to score a body lock takedown but Toffer shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ryan Toffer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Rivera. Toffer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Toffer tries to clinch but Rivera moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Toffer wants to clinch up but Rivera keeps it at a distance. Toffer shoots in for a double leg but Rivera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marco Rivera will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Toffer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Toffer has Rivera pressed against the cage, preventing Rivera from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rivera throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Toffer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rivera fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Toffer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rivera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rivera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Toffer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rivera's waist but Rivera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toffer off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Toffer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toffer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Rivera's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Toffer trying to control the position but Rivera is working away. Toffer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rivera knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Toffer is trying to get an arm triangle but Rivera is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toffer trying to control the position but Rivera is working away. Rivera prevents Toffer from improving position. Ryan Toffer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Toffer trying to control the action but Rivera is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toffer decides to stand back up. Rivera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Toffer counters by clinching up. Toffer taking a breather. Rivera is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Toffer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Toffer lands a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Toffer trying to control but Rivera is working from the bottom. Rivera working for a triangle but Toffer defends it easily.
Our spies down at at Justice Pain Inc. inform us that Rivera has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Toffer works a leg free and moves into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rivera is trying to get back to full guard. Toffer is keen to just control but Rivera is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Toffer dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Toffer slaps away a takedown attempt from Rivera, before circling back to the center of the mat. Toffer shoots in and gets a takedown into Rivera's guard. Toffer drops back looking for a leg! Rivera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rivera manages to kick Toffer off! Toffer jumps back into Rivera's guard. Toffer wants to control from the top but Rivera keeps moving. Toffer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Toffer is controlling him. Toffer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rivera's head. Rivera has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Toffer has passed into side control.

Rivera is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Toffer is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Toffer working for a submission but Rivera is keeping him at bay. Toffer landing punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toffer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rivera tries to hold on but Toffer pushes him away. Rivera tries to reverse the position but Toffer maintains control. Rivera tries to hold on but Toffer postures up. Rivera taking shots to the head. Rivera wants to hold on but Toffer pushes him away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivera is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivera tries to lock up and control but Toffer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Toffer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rivera is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Toffer locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Rivera is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryan Toffer! A relieved looking Ryan Toffer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
