Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dregen Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dillon Zamora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dregen Doe!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamora tries to clinch there but Doe circles away.
Doe throws a series of punches but Zamora avoids them all with ease.
Doe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zamora really is a fat lump.
Zamora moves out of range of the body kick from Doe.
Doe shoots in looking for a takedown. Zamora tries to sprawl out of it but Doe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zamora manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zamora dodges the punch combination from Doe.

Doe darts in and clinches Zamora up against the cage.

Zamora pulls guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Doe trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zamora's guard.
Zamora wants to stand but Doe is controlling the position.

Zamora looking to hit a scissor sweep but Doe is one step ahead there.
Doe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zamora is keeping the position for now.
Doe won't allow Zamora to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doe throws a big elbow that misses.
Doe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Let's hope that Doe has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dregen Doe hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Doe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zamora manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Doe is in close to Zamora's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Zamora bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doe's guard.

Zamora got a little sloppy there for a moment and Doe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zamora has managed to get both his arms back between Doe's legs - danger averted.

Zamora wants to get up but he can't break Doe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Zamora wants to control from the top but Doe keeps moving.
Zamora would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Zamora might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Zamora trying to control but Doe is working from the bottom.
Zamora is looking to stand up but Doe won't let him.
Doe is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Doe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zamora.

Doe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Zamora is trying to stand back up but Doe is controlling him
Zamora tries to roll over but Doe keeps him under control.
Doe wants to pass the guard but Zamora is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zamora is looking to escape.

That's time! Zamora's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Zamora moves in looking to clinch but Doe pushes him off.
Zamora closes the distance looking to clinch
and Doe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Dillon Zamora has been cut.

Doe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Doe wants to stand but Zamora is controlling his arm.
Zamora is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Doe asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Doe is looking to take a break and control but Zamora is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Zamora can't do much from the bottom here.

Zamora manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Doe wants to control but Zamora is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Zamora is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Doe is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Dregen Doe has got the better of the ground game so far.
Doe is trying to control but can't.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Zamora is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Doe sees it coming and defends easily.
Doe wants to control but Zamora passes into side.
Zamora working away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doe can do anything to dispel that myth.
Doe is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Doe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Zamora wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doe keeps working.
Doe sneaks back into half guard.
Doe is staying active underneath Zamora, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Doe throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Doe desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Doe is looking to escape.
Doe is breathing heavily.
Zamora wants to stand up but Doe is controlling the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Doe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Zamora looking to throw knees to the head but Doe is blocking nicely.
Doe fails to pull guard.

Doe pulls guard successfully.

Doe has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Zamora is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Doe.

Zamora is looking to take a break and control but Doe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Zamora wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doe keeps working.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Zamora avoids the strikes from the bottom by Doe.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dregen Doe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Zamora counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Doe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zamora paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Doe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zamora wants to get back to his feet.

Doe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Zamora manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Doe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Zamora is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Zamora is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Zamora is looking to stand up but Doe isn't so interested in that idea.

Doe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Zamora has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Zamora wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Doe manages to pass to side control.

Doe is working for an americana but Zamora has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Doe was thinking about the submission.

Zamora wants to stand but Doe is controlling the position.
Doe wants to control from the top but Zamora keeps moving.
Zamora wants to stand up but Doe is controlling him.

Dillon Zamora has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dregen Doe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
