0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Loans! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loans pushes Sellers up against the cage in a clinch. Loans breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Sellers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Loans drives through with a takedown into Sellers's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Loans postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sellers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sellers wants to sweep here but Loans controlling him for the moment. Loans is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Loans loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loans preventing the sweep. Sellers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Loans wants to control from the top but Sellers keeps moving.
Shawn Loans has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Sellers tries to clinch but fails miserably and Loans counters by clinching up. Loans pulls guard successfully.
Loans looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Loans seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Loans controls Sellers momentarily but Sellers frees himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Shawn Loans. Loans decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sellers wants to get back to full guard. Loans is trying to work for a kimura but Sellers is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loans is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Loans wants to control the pace but Sellers is squirming around nicely.

Sellers tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sellers is working hard here to advance position. Loans looking to control and managing it successfully. Loans scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Loans is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sellers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sellers shrugs it off. Loans connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sellers is looking to get to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Loans lands a big shot to the head and Sellers winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
