The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belov on the wrong end of a nice jab. Belov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ellington.
Belov takes one to the chin there. Ellington lands with a shot to the body. Ellington looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Ellington pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Ellington misses with a jab, cross combination.
Belov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ellington avoids it really well and circles away. Ellington lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ellington misses with a few strikes there.
Duke Ellington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ellington misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Belov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellington lands a jab. Ellington connects with a body shot. Ellington drops Belov with a beautiful combination! Belov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ellington is looking for the KO! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ellington lands a nice hook to Belov's body. Belov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ellington circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Belov to the canvas! Belov doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ellington keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
