Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shang Chi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shang Chi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Shang Chi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Esteban Delgado! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado misses with a low kick.
Chi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Chi throws a chopping leg kick but Delgado manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Chi throws a body kick that misses. Delgado lands a jab to Chi's midsection. Chi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Chi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Chi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Delgado scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chi doesn't seem bothered though. A bone on bone clash there as Delgado blocks the leg kick.
Delgado uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chi. Delgado lands a head shot. Chi attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Delgado delivers a nice body kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chi looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chi momentarily.
Chi moves in looking to clinch but Delgado pushes him off. Chi misses with a kick to the body.
Chi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Delgado to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Chi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Delgado trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Chi being controlled here, momentarily. Delgado lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Delgado postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Delgado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delgado won't allow Chi to sweep him here. Delgado trying to control but Chi is working from the bottom. Chi looking for a sweep. Not yet Chi, not yet. Delgado looking to control the position here, rather than advance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Delgado throwing strikes from guard but Chi blocks nicely. Delgado trying to control the position from guard on top but Chi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delgado throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Delgado with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delgado is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Chi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Delgado trying to control the position from guard on top but Chi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delgado sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Esteban Delgado. Delgado keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Delgado wants to control but Chi is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Chi is trying to control Delgado's posture but Delgado avoids it. Chi tries to improve position but can't. Delgado trying to control the position but Chi is working away. Chi looks to move to half guard but instead Delgado has passed into mount! Damn! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chi wants to hold on but Delgado pushes him away. Delgado trying to control but Chi is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Delgado on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Delgado fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Chi tries to work over Delgado's front leg with a kick but Delgado checks it. Delgado clinches up with Chi and pushes him back against the cage. Chi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Delgado.

Chi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Delgado is working Chi over against the cage. Delgado tries to throw a body punch but Chi avoids it by throwing Delgado back against the cage. Delgado goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chi tries to move into range but Delgado moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Chi connects with a solid leg kick. Chi tries to clinch but Delgado moves out of range. Chi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A head kick misses from Chi. Delgado dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chi. That did some damage! Delgado lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Delgado walks into a stiff left hand from Chi. Chi throws a leg kick but Delgado sees it coming and checks it nicely. Delgado looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Delgado shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chi is trying to defend but Delgado finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Delgado controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chi is staying active underneath Delgado, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Delgado wants to pass to mount but Chi is defending the position. Delgado not doing much here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Esteban Delgado was stalling too much, according to the referee. Chi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Chi misses with a low kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Chi. Chi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Shang Chi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delgado catches Chi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A low kick from Chi is predictable there and Delgado counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Delgado. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Delgado controlling from the top position. Delgado chips away with some ground and pound. Delgado's corner is telling him to maintain position. Esteban Delgado has got the better of the ground game so far. Chi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Delgado is one step ahead there. Delgado is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Delgado with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esteban Delgado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Chi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chi has momentary wrist control but Delgado slips an elbow through the middle. Delgado slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chi controlling the position. Delgado working some strikes from top position. Delgado chips away with some ground and pound. Chi is trying to keep Delgado in close.
Delgado controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Let's hope that Delgado has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Esteban Delgado is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Chi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Delgado wants to control from the top but Chi keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

This has been an exciting period of action! Delgado postures up in Chi's guard and throws a big left but Chi blocks it. Chi looking for a sweep. Not yet Chi, not yet. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Chi keeping moving, preventing Delgado from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Esteban Delgado has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Delgado scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Esteban Delgado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Delgado winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
