Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rosendo Weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and White Bonze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonze shoots in looking for a takedown. Weiss tries to sprawl out of it but Bonze keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weiss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bonze moves into the clinch.
Bonze drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Weiss gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Weiss breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bonze has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Weiss is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Weiss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Weiss drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Weiss has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bonze closes the distance and clinches.

Weiss takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bonze shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Weiss but Weiss pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Weiss throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bonze was covering up waiting for the punch and Weiss finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bonze escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Weiss gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bonze is trying to control the position but Weiss postures up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Weiss, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
