Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clemente Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dregen Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clemente Warner has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Clemente Warner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dregen Doe!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Warner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Doe looking to score a takedown here. Warner is defending well but Doe drives through and ends up in Warner's guard.
Doe wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving.
Doe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Doe wants to pass the guard but Warner is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe looks winded!
Warner being controlled here, momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dregen Doe was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Warner keeps the fight on the outside.

Doe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Warner.
Warner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No luck for Warner with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clemente Warner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Warner enables Doe to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Warner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Doe looking to sit in guard and control but Warner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Warner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Doe has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Warner wants to control from the top but Doe keeps moving.

Doe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Warner stands up from Doe's guard - Warner perhaps looking for a knockout.

Doe shoots in and gets a takedown into Warner's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doe wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving.
Warner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Doe controls the pace.
Doe should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Doe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Warner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Doe tries to free his leg and advance position but Warner is retaining full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dregen Doe wasn't active enough on the ground.
Warner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dregen Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Doe.
Warner wants to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Warner or perhaps it was just good defense by Doe which made him look bad.
Warner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Doe as he avoids it easily.

Warner fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doe tries to clinch but Warner is having none of it.
Warner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Doe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Doe lands strikes from half guard.
Doe trying to control from half guard but Warner is working away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dregen Doe dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Warner is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Doe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Warner is not content to let Doe control the position.
Warner wants to control but Doe postures up.
Doe landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Check out the look on Doe's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Doe advances to mount.
Warner is squirming around, avoiding Doe's attempts to control the action.

Warner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Doe pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Warner is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea.

Dregen Doe has got the better of the ground game so far.
Doe looking to control but Warner is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
BOOM! Doe connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Warner is looking to improve his position but Doe isn't that keen on the idea.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warner is looking to escape.

Doe content just to control the position here.

Doe is working for a guillotine from mount but Warner frees his head quite easily.
Doe lands with some strikes.
Doe trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Doe breaks from Warner's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Doe controlling from mount.
Doe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warner is looking to escape.
Doe working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Warner swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Warner bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dregen Doe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Doe wants to clinch up but Warner keeps it at a distance.
Warner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Doe counters with a shoot takedown. Warner fights it but they end up in guard.
Warner controls Doe momentarily but Doe frees himself.
Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Warner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Doe stays in close to Warner's body and controls the position.
Doe tries to free his leg and advance position but Warner is retaining full guard.
Doe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Doe's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Warner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dregen Doe hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Warner pushes Doe up against the cage in a clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doe has Warner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Warner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Warner has had enough of the clinch but Doe keeps him there for the moment.

Warner jumps guard.
Doe throws an elbow that misses. Warner uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Doe's guard. Nice move by Warner!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doe can do anything to dispel that myth.
Doe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Warner manages to get himself to full guard.
Doe sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Warner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Doe advances to half guard.
Doe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Doe controlling the position easily from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doe is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Warner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Warner sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Doe working over Warner with some ground and pound. Warner looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
It looks like Doe is going to stand back up.
Warner wants to get back to full guard.
Doe controlling the pace.
Warner is refusing to be controlled, as Doe sits in half guard.
Doe controlling the action here.
Doe wants to pass the guard but Warner is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Dregen Doe has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Warner fails with the takedown.

Doe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Warner prevents Doe from moving into mount.
Doe looks up at the clock and then as Warner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Doe smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warner is looking to reverse the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Doe cracks Warner with a big elbow.
Clemente Warner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dregen Doe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Warner wants to control but Doe postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dregen Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Doe winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
