The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcpherson misses with a takedown attempt
and Adderiy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mcpherson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Adderiy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mcpherson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Adderiy has Mcpherson in his guard.
Adderiy is looking for a triangle but Mcpherson pushes his legs off easily.
Adderiy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mcpherson defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adderiy has his foot on Mcpherson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcpherson works his way back into a safe position though.
Mcpherson is posturing up here but Adderiy has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mcpherson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mcpherson has to tap! Slick submission there by Adderiy!
