Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Filip Yolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decon Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green has chosen Yeke Yeke as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Filip Yolo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Decon Green! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green scores with a takedown into Yolo's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yolo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Green has managed to get both his arms back between Yolo's legs - danger averted. Yolo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yolo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Green avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Yolo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Green drops back looking for a leg! Yolo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yolo manages to kick Green off! Green jumps back into Yolo's guard. Green trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Green wants to control from the top but Yolo keeps moving. Yolo doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Green doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Yolo is breathing heavily. Green drops back looking for a leg! Yolo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yolo manages to kick Green off! Green jumps back into Yolo's guard. Green advances to half guard. Yolo looking for submissions off his back. Green is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Green is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Yolo is refusing to be controlled, as Green sits in half guard. Green is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Yolo has managed to free his arm - good work. Yolo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Green pulls his head out easily. Green is trying to control the action in half guard but Yolo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yolo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Green is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Green seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Green has control of Yolo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Yolo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Yolo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Green throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Yolo has his hands clasped together but Green breaks the hold and Yolo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Green!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Decon Green! A determined Decon Green didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
