Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalifa Khalifa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by ''Big Poppa'' by The Notorious B.I.G.. Khalifa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Habibi Ya Nour El Ain. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a right and a left that Khalifa avoids nicely.
Khalifa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith tries to clinch but Khalifa is having none of it.

We've been told by Smith's head coaches at Thunder Dome that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khalifa connects with a nice short shot to Smith's temple.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Khalifa Khalifa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Trevor Smith had this to say: 'psysically i was in the fight but mentally i was not!'.
