Hendrickx is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roadie - Tenacious D. Lars Hendrickx has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrickx shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Deleon sprawls well. Deleon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hendrickx gets slowly back to his feet.
Deleon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hendrickx swivels and escapes.
Deleon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hendrickx cracks Deleon with an open hand slap.
Deleon shoots in but Hendrickx avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hendrickx dives in for a single leg takedown but Deleon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Deleon gets control of Hendrickx's arms and successfully pulls guard. Deleon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Deleon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hendrickx.
Deleon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hendrickx on the ground.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
You can see the frustration on Deleon's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deleon covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Lars Hendrickx dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hendrickx fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Deleon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hendrickx sprawls well. Hendrickx wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Deleon gets slowly back to his feet.
Deleon leaves Hendrickx with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hendrickx shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hendrickx was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hendrickx wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Deleon, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deleon has one of Hendrickx's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Hendrickx is looking to take a break and control but Deleon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hendrickx wants to control but Deleon is keeping him busy.
Deleon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Deleon is squirming around, avoiding Hendrickx's attempts to control the action.

Deleon wants to hold on but Hendrickx pushes him away.

Deleon tries to reverse the position but Hendrickx maintains control.

Deleon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hendrickx throwing strikes here but Deleon is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hendrickx has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Deleon is forced to tap!

A relieved looking Lars Hendrickx thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
