Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Byron Skiddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikulas Prochazka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Byron Skiddles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mikulas Prochazka! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skiddles connects with a body shot that sends Prochazka's belly button to the back. Skiddles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Skiddles throws out a powerful jab. Prochazka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Prochazka moves forwards but Skiddles connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mikulas Prochazka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skiddles throws a jab but it's blocked by Prochazka. A looping hook to the body misses from Skiddles. Prochazka does a little dance to reset his feet. Prochazka ducks under a wild hook from Skiddles. Skiddles ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Prochazka shoots in and bounces Skiddles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Prochazka trying to control the position from guard on top but Skiddles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skiddles trying to control the position.
Prochazka wants to stand but Skiddles is controlling his posture from full guard. Prochazka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Prochazka wants to control from the top but Skiddles keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prochazka preventing the sweep. Skiddles is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Prochazka sitting in guard here, content to control. Prochazka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Skiddles swivels though and keeps the full guard. Prochazka controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mikulas Prochazka has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Prochazka fails to land the takedown. Skiddles bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Prochazka's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skiddles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Byron Skiddles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skiddles lands a head shot. Prochazka moves into the clinch. Prochazka will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Skiddles up against the cage. Skiddles wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Prochazka has him pressed against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Prochazka manages to break the clinch.

Skiddles misses with a wild body shot. Skiddles looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Skiddles connects with a crisp jab. Prochazka throws a leg kick but Skiddles moved away. Prochazka moves out of range of the strikes. Prochazka moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skiddles wants to get back to striking at distance but Prochazka won't allow it.

Skiddles is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Prochazka is pushing Skiddles up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Skiddles wants to break the clinch but can't.
Come on Prochazka - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Prochazka looks to throw an elbow but misses. A bit of stalling here from Prochazka.

Prochazka has Skiddles pressed against the cage, preventing Skiddles from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Skiddles blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prochazka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Skiddles stuffs the takedown. Prochazka is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Skiddles. Prochazka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Prochazka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skiddles wants to improve his position but Prochazka is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Prochazka is taking a breather. Skiddles says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Skiddles is defending against the submission attempts here by Prochazka.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skiddles is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Prochazka pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Byron Skiddles will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Skiddles scores with a nice head shot. Jab by Skiddles. Prochazka tries to clinch up but Skiddles circles away and keeps his distance. Nice uppercut there from Skiddles. Skiddles cracks Prochazka with a good jab. Mikulas Prochazka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Skiddles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Prochazka. Prochazka circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Skiddles lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Prochazka tries to land a leg kick but Skiddles saw it coming and moves away.
Prochazka misses with the combination.
Prochazka throws a series of punches but Skiddles avoids them all with ease. Prochazka takes a swing at Skiddles's ribcage but misses. Prochazka misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Skiddles counters with a single leg into guard. Prochazka didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Prochazka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skiddles passes Prochazka's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Skiddles missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Skiddles passes the guard and advances to mount! Skiddles scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Prochazka?
Skiddles is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Prochazka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Skiddles is looking to work his way around to Prochazka's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Skiddles trying to control but he's not successful this time. Prochazka tries to hold on but Skiddles pushes him away. Prochazka is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Skiddles throwing strikes here but Prochazka is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skiddles unloads with some shots from mount but Prochazka bucks and avoids them well.
Prochazka gets back to half guard. Skiddles is trying to control the action in half guard but Prochazka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Prochazka is positioning himself well to prevent Skiddles advancing to mount. Skiddles is controlling the pace.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Prochazka is looking for a sweep. Skiddles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Skiddles maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Prochazka could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Skiddles has cracked it and Prochazka is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Skiddles!
