Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugeny Lapik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayweather comes to the cage accompanied by Given Up - Linkin Park. Eugeny Lapik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Mayweather! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eugeny Lapik! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Lapik takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mayweather throws a shot from downtown. Lapik moves away and avoids it. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lapik has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Mayweather swings widly with a right hand
and Lapik counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lapik. Mayweather utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lapik trying to control the position from guard on top but Mayweather is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lapik not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lapik wants to control from the top but Mayweather keeps moving. Lapik seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Eugeny Lapik hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mayweather lands a glancing blow to the side of Lapik's head. A lazy left from Mayweather finds it's target. Mayweather throws a right and a left that Lapik avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mayweather misses with a body punch
and Lapik decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mayweather's guard. Lapik must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mayweather is looking to stand up but Lapik isn't so interested in that idea. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lapik throwing strikes from guard but Mayweather blocks nicely. Lapik has gone for a leg lock! Mayweather slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lapik's guard. Mayweather got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lapik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mayweather has managed to get both his arms back between Lapik's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mayweather controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We're going to have a standup here because Ray Mayweather wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Mayweather throws a nice looking combination but Lapik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mayweather throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lapik. Mayweather lands a big right hand that sends Lapik crashing to the mat! Mayweather stays standing though and waves Lapik back to his feet!
Lapik is rocked! Ray Mayweather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from Mayweather. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mayweather with a body punch. A glancing blow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Mayweather dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Mayweather just misses with a punch to the body.
Ray Mayweather is winning the standup battle so far. Mayweather lands a glancing blow to the side of Lapik's head. Lapik takes one to the chin there. Mayweather cracks Lapik with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lapik looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mayweather finish him?
Lapik is still on wobbly legs! Can Mayweather finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! and Mayweather counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Lapik! He's just covering up as Mayweather starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Mayweather! Our winner, Ray Mayweather, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
