Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Sermera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sermera's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, HARKA. Simon Sermera has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sermera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sermera shoots in looking for a takedown. Sin tries to sprawl out of it but Sermera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sermera gets caught flat footed, as Sin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sermera holds on and takes a little breather.

Sin has gone for a leg lock! Sermera slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sin's guard.

Sermera is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Simon Sermera just wasn't active enough.

Sin moves in looking to clinch but Sermera pushes him off.

Sin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sermera manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sin lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sin throws a strike but Sermera avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Sin is in close to Sermera's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Sermera is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sin frees his head nicely. Oh but Sermera has switched to an armbar! Sin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Simon Sermera started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
