Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Snickers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darco Goncalves! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snickers walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Snickers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goncalves manages to avoid it. Goncalves scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Goncalves throws a series of punches but Snickers avoids them all with ease. Snickers misses with a body shot.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Snickers. Goncalves shrugs it off though. Goncalves misses with a hook. Goncalves cracks Snickers with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Snickers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Snickers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Goncalves backs up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Snickers. Goncalves throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Goncalves bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Goncalves postures up and lands a big shot to Snickers's brow. Snickers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Goncalves lands a couple of digs. Goncalves throwing strikes from guard but Snickers blocks nicely. Snickers keeping moving, preventing Goncalves from controlling successfully.

Goncalves distracts Snickers with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Darco Goncalves has got the better of the ground game so far. Goncalves pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snickers is keeping the position for now. Goncalves is looking to work some ground and pound but Snickers has wrist control. Snickers keeping full guard, as Goncalves tries to pass. Goncalves must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Goncalves wants to control from the top but Snickers keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Goncalves's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Snickers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Goncalves doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Snickers is tightening it up a little... Goncalves has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Goncalves reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Goncalves taps out! Nice BJJ there by Snickers!
