Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Itsu Hitigaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zenek Ziemski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitigaki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Whistler. Zenek Ziemski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Itsu Hitigaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zenek Ziemski!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitigaki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ziemski turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ziemski manages to end up in side control.
Ziemski is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ziemski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ziemski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hitigaki is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Hitigaki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ziemski just content to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ziemski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ziemski is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hitigaki looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ziemski gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hitigaki is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ziemski lets go of the hold and Hitigaki can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zenek Ziemski!
Our winner, Zenek Ziemski, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
