Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Grey! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fichten Klatscher! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klatscher misses with a series of wild punches.
Klatscher thows a body shot but no joy. Grey wants to clinch up but Klatscher keeps it at a distance. Grey checks a leg kick nicely. Grey misses with a low kick as Klatscher jumps back. Klatscher has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Klatscher fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Grey closes the distance and clinches. Klatscher tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Klatscher takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Fichten Klatscher has been cut. Grey pushes off an throws an elbow but Klatscher leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Grey prevents Klatscher from breaking the clinch. Klatscher blocks the elbow strike.
Klatscher throws a head punch that misses. A frustrated look appears on Klatscher's face as he tries to break the clinch. Grey blocks an uppercut.
Grey stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Grey pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Klatscher misses with a short punch on the inside. Grey lands a nice elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Grey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Klatscher wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Klatscher misses with a hook from the clinch. Klatscher wants to get back to striking at distance but Grey won't allow it.

Grey lands an elbow inside that Klatscher shrugs off.
That has opened up Fichten Klatscher's cut even more. Grey creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Grey lands a nice elbow. Klatscher swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Grey lands an elbow that stopped Klatscher in his tracks for a moment. Klatscher wants to get back to striking at distance but Grey won't allow it.
Klatscher has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grey regains guard immediately.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Klatscher is trying to get back to full guard. Grey wants to pass to mount but Klatscher is defending the position. Klatscher wants to control the action here but instead Grey manages to pass to full mount! Grey content just to control the position here. Klatscher wants to control but Grey is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klatscher is looking to improve his position but Grey isn't that keen on the idea. Grey controlling from the full mount. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Klatscher working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klatscher holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Grey tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Klatscher tries to hold on but Grey postures up. Klatscher is desperately trying to improve his position but Grey has a good base and remains in mount. Grey wants to control the pace but Klatscher is squirming around nicely. Klatscher is looking to improve his position but Grey isn't that keen on the idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grey controlling his opponent. Grey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Earl Grey will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Fichten Klatscher's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Grey checks a leg kick. An inside leg kick from Klatscher misses. Klatscher throws a sloppy head kick and Grey moves out of range easily. Klatscher jabbing away but nothing is landing. A nice leg kick lands there from Klatscher. Klatscher tries to score with a low kick but Grey moves his leg out of the way. Klatscher throws a low kick, looking for Grey's leg but Grey calmly moves out of range. Grey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Klatscher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Klatscher throws a chopping leg kick but Grey manages to avoid taking any serious damage. A clash of legs there as Klatscher blocks the low kick. Fichten Klatscher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grey rushes Klatscher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Klatscher manages to break the clinch.
Klatscher looks to throw the jab but Grey is out of range. Grey rushes Klatscher and presses him up against the cage. Grey throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Klatscher has had enough of the clinch but Grey keeps him there for the moment. Grey blocking some punches.
Grey lands an elbow inside. Klatscher lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Grey lands an elbow inside.
The cut above Fichten Klatscher's eye is starting to cause him problems now. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Grey just misses with a elbow thrown towards Klatscher's brow. Grey pressing his opponent against the cage. Earl Grey has scored more points in the clinch so far. Grey misses with an elbow strike.
Grey pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Grey is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Klatscher misses with a punch on the inside.

Grey lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Klatscher tries to circle away but Grey has him pinned against the cage. Klatscher drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Grey gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Klatscher has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Grey pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Grey. Grey lands a damaging elbow.
Fichten Klatscher's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Grey will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Klatscher up against the cage. Klatscher swings wildly with an uppercut but Grey uses good head movement to avoid it. Klatscher takes an elbow to the temple.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fichten Klatscher's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Earl Grey! Earl Grey retains his light heavyweight title! In his post fight interview, Earl Grey started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
