Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Burt Guth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Trenton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guth comes to the cage accompanied by Alva Noto - Module 7. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Burt Guth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spider Trenton! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trenton.
Trenton throws out a loose jab but Guth uses good head movement to avoid it. Trenton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been hearing reports that Guth has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Trenton throws a right hand that Guth ducks under and follows up with a left that Guth also avoids with ease. Trenton misses with a right hand and Guth counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Guth trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Guth works a leg free and moves into half guard. Guth is trying to work for a kimura but Trenton is defending well.
Guth wants to work for an arm triangle but Trenton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Trenton is refusing to be controlled, as Guth sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guth passes to side control. Trenton is looking for a sweep. Guth is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Trenton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Trenton is trying to get back to half guard. Guth postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Trenton throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trenton throws a lazy uppercut
and Guth holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Guth has Trenton pressed against the cage, preventing Trenton from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Guth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Guth drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Trenton gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Trenton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Guth shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Trenton tries to bum rush Guth with a series of wild strikes but Guth uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Trenton throws a poor cross that misses
and Guth counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A knee to the head by Guth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trenton tries a body shot but Guth blocks it.
Guth keeps control of Trenton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Trenton is trying to push Guth away but Guth has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Trenton is looking to break free of the clinch but Guth has double underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guth landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Guth with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Trenton is looking to break free of the clinch but Guth has double underhooks. Guth is trying to drag Trenton to the mat but Trenton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Trenton is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burt Guth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guth is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Trenton is defending well for now. Guth is looking to take this one to the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guth works over Trenton with some ground and pound from guard. Trenton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Guth throws a big elbow that misses. Trenton is trying to keep Guth in close.
Guth trying to control the position from guard on top but Trenton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Guth working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Trenton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guth is controlling him. Guth passes into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trenton is pressing down on Guth's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed right hand from Trenton misses the target. Trenton cracks Guth with a good jab. Spider Trenton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trenton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Trenton misses with a double jab.
Trenton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Guth doesn't seem bothered though. Trenton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trenton misses with a hook
and Guth connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Trenton throws a combination that misses and Guth counters with a nice double leg into guard. Guth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trenton keeping full guard, as Guth tries to pass. Trenton has control of Guth's left arm, preventing Guth from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guth is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Guth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trenton works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Guth pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Trenton is keeping the position for now. Guth landing with the ground and pound. Guth not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guth wants to control from the top but Trenton keeps moving. Trenton trying to control the position.
Guth sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Trenton's guard. Guth wants to pass to mount but Trenton is defending the position. Guth is working hard here to advance position. Guth lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Burt Guth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trenton taking some punishment here, with Guth in his half guard. Trenton gets back to full guard.
Guth is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Guth's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Guth postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Guth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trenton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Guth. Trenton managing to control the position. Trenton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Guth controls the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Trenton tests Guth's chin there with a solid looking shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trenton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Guth slips a straight right by Trenton. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Guth counters by clinching up. Trenton trying to control the position but instead, Guth has worked for underhooks and has pushed Trenton into the cage. Guth is trying to trip Trenton. He has hold of a leg but Trenton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Guth persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Trenton keeping full guard, as Guth tries to pass. Guth landing some decent shots from guard. Trenton keeping moving, preventing Guth from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guth loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Guth wants to control from the top but Trenton keeps moving. Trenton wriggles free and stands up. Guth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Guth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trenton.
Trenton misses with a straight right. Trenton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guth stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Spider Trenton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trenton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guth. Trenton with a body punch. A glancing blow. The fighters circling - Trenton throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Trenton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Guth.

Trenton throws a left and a right that both miss
and Guth counters with a nice double leg into side control. Trenton won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trenton is looking to regain half guard here but Guth keeps moving and retains side control. Guth works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Guth looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Guth seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Trenton is not content to let Guth control the position. Guth connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Trenton some visible discomfort.
Guth prevents Trenton from escaping the position. Guth wants to control but Trenton is keeping him busy. Guth tries to score with some ground and pound. Trenton controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trenton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Guth off and has taken his back! Guth rolls, trying to escape but Trenton keeps control of the position.
Guth rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Guth is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Trenton pulls his head out easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Guth manages to get to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Burt Guth showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Guth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
