The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearns changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Hearns throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Muromets tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like ILja Muromets has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hearns wants to control from the top but Muromets keeps moving.
Hearns controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Muromets is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hearns trying to stand up but can't free himself from Muromets's guard.
Hearns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Muromets manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Muromets looking to control but Hearns is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Muromets throws a strike there. Hearns manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

Hearns pushes Muromets off looking to stand but Muromets dives back in and keeps control.
Hearns wants to improve his position but Muromets is controlling well.

Muromets is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hearns is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
